Shade - Wilson Fruitless Olive

Wilson Fruitless Olive is an evergreen tree keeps its beautiful, silver-green leaves throughout the year, making it a good option for spaces that could benefit from year-round cooling or privacy.  Like the traditional olive trees native to the Mediterranean region, this tree is hardy and very drought-tolerant. Its elegantly spreading and twisting branch structure gives it a distinctly rustic appearance. Spreading habit to 25 feet tall by as wide with narrow gray green 2 inch long leaves that are 1/2 to 3/4 inches wide.  This variety produces little if any mature fruit as flowers and young fruit usually abscise before maturing.  Full sun.  Heat and drought tolerant once established and tolerant to temperatures down to around 15 degrees F without damage.
