Pluerry

A pluerry is a type of fruit that is a hybrid between a plum and a cherry. It was created by Floyd Zaiger, a plant breeder who is known for developing many new varieties of fruits. A pluerry has a smooth skin that can be red, yellow, or purple, and a juicy flesh that is sweet and tangy. A pluerry also has a small pit in the center that contains the seed. Pluerries are grown in California and are harvested in summer.
