Figs - Chicago Hardy

Chicago Hardy has been a reliable producer for us here in Phoenix.  We planted one of this variety in our own orchard and the flavor improves year after year.  For us, the flavor intensifies if the figs are left on the tree a little longer rather than picked right away.  Chicago Hardy has a mild strawberry flavor with a sweetness. 

It grows well in the heat.  This tree is also cold hardy (down to 10 degrees).  so if you live in colder zones in Arizona, this would be a great fig for you.

Pollinator required:  Self-fruitful
