White Sapote is a fruit not often found in grocery stores. It’s a greenish soft fruit with a shape similar to an apple. The flesh is custard-like with a flavor of hints of various fruits including pear, peach, banana, caramel and vanilla. White sapotes are a large sized tree, native to Mexico and Central America. These are great for fresh eating, or good over ice cream.
